History
Shortly after finishing their undergraduate preparation, two graduates ofthe Massachusetts Institute of Technology reminisced about the many lessonsthey had learned during their time at MIT. One lesson, however, stood outfrom all the others: how much easier the journey would have been if they hadknown then what they knew now.
These conversations sparked their mutual desire to turn back the hands oftime. They had already succeeded, but now they could help others do the same withfewer obstacles. They recruited colleagues with similar goals and beganreaching out to high schools. Minority Mentorship had been born, as had theseed to develop future minority leaders.
